The story of Nocino il Mallo was born from the dream and dedication of Stefano Freno, who in 1984 founded the opificio in Maranello, right in front of Ferrari’s legendary gates, driven by a passion for fine drinking and the desire to create a Nocino of superior quality.
By carefully selecting the finest ingredients and working according to the traditional recipe, the founder brought to light a true Modenese excellence: Nocino soon became a point of reference in the finest bars and restaurants of the region, also recognizable by its distinctive drop-shaped bottle.
Our privileged location — right across from the Ferrari Scuderia — nurtured a special bond with the icons of our land. Enzo Ferrari himself, the ultimate symbol of authentic Modenese spirit, held a deep fondness for our Nocino. He proudly offered it to his illustrious guests, to drivers, and to friends who visited the Scuderia — a gesture of excellence and belonging.
How to Drink Nocino Il Mallo
Nocino di Modena Il Mallo is traditionally drunk neat, at room temperature, to appreciate its intense and authentic taste.
